Not only is the Porsche Panamera Turbo sexy, but it is powerful. Only the limited-production Porsche 918 supercar has more power. We’re talking 0-60 in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 192mph.
The electric motor won’t be confused with a Tesla, as the Porsche will be able to travel only 31 miles on electric power alone and take 12 hours to recharge the pack.
The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid comes with tons of standard features including Porsche Active Suspension Management, ceramic composite brakes, and dynamic chassis control including torque vectoring.
While the U.S. arrival is still several months off, Porsche announced pricing for the 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid at $185,450 and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive at $195,850.

Packing 680 horsepower, the 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Serving as flagship for the Panamera lineup, this new plug-in hybrid builds on the formula introduced on the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid. In place of the 2.9-liter/330-horsepower twin-turbo V6 paired with a 136-horse motor that makes 462 collective horsepower, the new Turbo S E-Hybrid packs a 4.0-liter turbo V8 that cranks out 550 horsepower and is teamed with the same electric motor to up output to 680 horsepower and 626 lb-ft of peak torque.
Only Porsche’s limited-production 918 supercar has more muscle on tap. Porsche says the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will streak from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds – or 3.3 for those who want the long-wheelbase Executive form – and reach a top speed of 192 mph. The electric motor is powered by a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack with a 14.1-kWh capacity – sufficient to let the car travel up to 31 miles on electric power alone. While it takes 12 hours to replenish the pack using a 120V line and the standard 3.6 kW charger that interval drops to less than three hours with the optional 7.2 kW unit on a dedicated 240V system. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is fitted with an 8-speed Porsche PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends motive force to each corner via a standard active all-wheel drive system with Porsche Traction Management.
The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has a bounty of standard features including air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, ceramic composite brakes, and dynamic chassis control including torque vectoring. Power Steering Plus and Sport Chrono Package, 21-inch Turbo Design alloy wheels, adaptive aerodynamic elements and auxiliary air-conditioning are also included. Stepping up to the Executive-spec model adds rear axle steering, 8-way power rear seats with comfort head rests and 4-zone zone climate control.
