It’s that time of year again! The time of year when people actually watch the commercials. It can only mean one thing:  SUPER BOWL COMMERCIALS! Oh yea, and that game they play in between.

My Pittsburgh Steelers decided to lay an egg against Tom Terrific and the New England Cheatr…. Patriots, so the commercials are more important to me than the game this year. I’ll be a spectator like everyone else and we’ve found some awesome Super Bowl commercials this year that everyone should watch for.

Those that know me, know that I’ve had some really cool opportunities with Kia. I just got off a one month press drive of the 2017 Kia Sportage and fell in love with it. Once a laughing stock of the auto industry, Kia has stepped up their game over the past couple years. After hiring a former-Audi designer, the cars look sharp, the marketing is on point and they’ve become a powerhouse. I’m also a big fan of Melissa McCarthy. When Kia and Melissa joined forces for this Super Bowl commercial, there’s no way they lose.

This Budweiser Super Bowl commercial hits home for me. As the son of immigrant entrepreneurs, I know how hard the journey is for those that came to America looking for opportunity and were able to make their dreams become reality. In yet another Super Bowl commercial with amazing storytelling, Budweiser continues their Super Bowl commercial legacy.

One of my new favorite brands that is crushing it on social media and with their marketing is T-Mobile. They are also putting out a great ad featuring Justin Bieber, Rob Gronkowski and Terrell Owens that is one of my top picks. They’re even going a step further and engaging their audience by asking for people to use the hashtag #UnlimitedMoves and post their dance moves. Very well done, John Legere and company. Check it out here:

I love when brands acknowledge what everyone is thinking and face it head on. Buick has been doing that for a while with their redesigned vehicles and this Super Bowl commercial doesn’t disappoint. Bringing in the big guns, we get a glimpse of Cam Newton and Miranda Kerr in this one.

There are obviously more than just these four Super Bowl commercials, but I wanted to pick a few that I enjoyed the most, so far. What is your favorite Super Bowl commercial so far in 2017? What is your favorite of all time? With a $5 million price tag, are they worth the fuss?
